The wedding of my sister Belinda and her lovely Canadian wife Rachele in beautiful Parc LaFontaine nearby their home. The low key ceremony, spoken in both French and English, was intimate but not fussy and very heartfelt.

Listening intently to the words of the ‘wellwishers’ present. Don’t they look like a stylish couple?!!

Belinda just cannot get that wonderfully warm smile of her’s off her face!

Fortunately, I was living in New York city at that time so was able to attend this wonderful occasion, happily representing the Australian brood when Belinda formally brought Rachele into our family. Naturally I also got to meet Rachele’s siblings and their families, so much lively storytelling went on at the Wedding feast later, at a super French restaurant a short walk from the Park.

It was an entire weekend full of joy and good food – plus the essential celebratory champagne! Naturalement!
